Searching by one or more keywords will retrieve those items where one or more of the words are part of the title, author, subject, series, note or any combination of these.
Examples :
- Night Mary Higgins Clark
To find documents by the author Mary Higgins Clark and containing the word "night" in the title.
- vegetarian cuisine
To find documents pertaining to vegetarian cuisine
- booker prize
To find documents awarded by the Booker prize
- frank sinatra my way
To find a CD where Frank Sinatra sings My Way
- Dr. Seuss
To find a book written by Dr. Seuss
Use an asterisk at the end of a word to search for all variations of that word.
Examples :
- stone diar* shields
To find the Stone Diaries by Carol Shields
- goal*
For goal, goals and goalie. Two asterisks can be used for words exceeding 5 characters such as goalkeeper.
To search for an expression of 2 or more words together, use quotation marks.
Examples :
- "financial planning"
- "global warming"
- "United States of America"
